After a long and labor-intensive phase of voting for 629 application we finally voted ast least two times for every potential participant. During the reading of the motivation essays we got very impressed by the thoughts and actions of the applicants. As we got so many brilliant applications we had make decisions not everybody was invited. We sent out the official invitation letters and a confirmation via email. Also the applicants who didn't made it got a rejection email.

During the last days a lot of emails flew in which causes us to make same announcements about the invitations.

1. Many people seem to get no email at all. Please check your spamfolder as well for our email. Some applicants made typing errors at their email adress. So if you also got no email in your spamfolder you can write to help_me@gristuf.org

2. We got 629 applications. The festival is designed for 100 people. Because of the experiences of the last years we sent out ~300 invitations knowing that just 40% of the invited people will actually appear. So there will be no waiting list.

3. Within your invitations letter you'll get an official invitation signed by the president of the University of Greifswald. To make getting VISAs easier we already send a list of all persons who are invited to the german embassies. There will be enough time for you to get you VISA and prepare everything.

4. Because we got such a load of requests please understand that it may take a while to answer to everyone.
